On this occasion, Morzine Avoriaz is working hard to prepare you for a summer period rich in activity and discovery. The season will be marked by the presence of major events that will punctuate the life of the resort.
Pass’portes from June 24 to 26
The traditional Pass’Portes edition will be held in the heart of the Portes du Soleil area from June 24th to 26th. It will be an opportunity for experienced or amateur mountain bikers to take advantage of the 61 ski lifts and to hurtle down more than 80KM of mountain bike trails spread over 8 different stations!
Spartan race July 2-3
This summer will also be marked by the return of the famous obstacle course, the Spartan Race from 2nd to 3rd July. During the time of a weekend, participants will be able to test their mental and physical abilities through courses nestled in the heart of the Alps. Crossing high-altitude lakes, climbing vertiginous slopes and swimming in white water will be part of the game.
Tour de France from July 11 to 12
In mid-July, Morzine Avoriaz will be one of the host cities of the Tour de France. The 2022 edition of the big loop will be held from July 11 to 12 in the heart of the village, a rest day followed by the start of the 10th stage towards Megève will be on the program.
Harley Days from July 14 to 17
This summer season will also be the occasion to welcome Harley Day. After a 2021 edition postponed to this year, the week of July 14 to 17 will allow seasoned and novice motorcyclists to meet and share festive moments. The planning of motorcycle parades and numerous concerts will make this gathering an unmissable event for all ROCKERS and BIKERS!
Mont-Blanc Rally from September 8 to 10
Finally, the resort will host the traditional Mont Blanc Rally. This stage of the French Rally Championships will take place from September 8 to 10 and will close the Morzinoise summer season.
