Pass’Portes from June 23 to 25
Whether you are a confirmed mountain biker or an amateur, take advantage of the famous Pass’Portes which will take place from June 23 to 25. A unique opportunity to hurtle down more than 80 km and use the 61 ski lifts present in no less than 8 of the 12 Portes du Soleil resorts.
Spartan race from July 01 to 02
From July 01 to 02, the obstacle course that needs no introduction, the Spartan Race, will take place! It’s the perfect time to surpass yourself and show what you are capable of through more demanding courses than the other.
Tour de France on July 15
The 110th Tour de France will be held this year. After crossing the Col de la Ramaz and the famous Col de Joux Plane, Morzine will host the finish of the 14th stage on July 15th.
Trail of the Hauts Forts on August 05
For this summer, Morzine is organizing a mountain course at an altitude of 1,800 meters on August 5th. The Hauts-Forts trail takes you through the most beautiful landscapes of the Portes du Soleil for an extraordinary adventure in a route that is both difficult and demanding marked by its technique but above all by its steep drop.
Morzine-Montriond Triathlon on August 26
For triathlon and thrill seekers, Morzine-Montriond gives you the opportunity to escape during its triathlon which will be held on August 26th. With the swimming course in the lake of Montriond as an entry, followed by the bike course taking the mythical climb of Avoriaz and its technical descent to Morzine, then the running on the banks of the Dranse; There is something for every taste !
Mont-Blanc Rally from 01 to 02 September
At the end of the summer, from 01 to 02 September, you will be able to witness the arrival of one of the stages of the French Automobile Championship: The Rallye du Mont-Blanc Morzine. The specials will take place at the Col de Joux Verte or the Col de Joux Plane. And for the greatest enthusiasts, you will have the opportunity to see all the beautiful vintage cars in the center of the Morzine resort.
MTB World Cup from September 6th to 17th
This end of summer will end with the spectacular mountain biking world cup which will take place from September 6th to 17th. You will have the opportunity to see great mountain bikers from all over the world hurtling down the mountain at full speed and those who climb it!
